naysayers beware Wednesday December 1

cara from high school got a free ipod, and then she was all excited. i looked into the free ipods scam, and found out it's not a scam: just something that takes good friends and a lot of time.

i began on something like october 5th, and now, december 1st:

too good to be true

hey, c'mon. point is, i owe both of you dinner.... i am thankful. and todd, if i had been able to get a replacement MP3 player for the one i lost this summer -- the non-mac one -- i would have. i'm not going to buy into this ipod accessorizing frenzy, like those $30 SOCKS that you can get to put your ipod in. socks. $30 for 6. SOCKS.

You could always go the Paris Hilton route and have your shiny new I-pod encrusted with jewels and rare, exotic fossils and all kinds of other crap that rich people buy just to spit on we who are not rich. Sorry, that verged on a rant. Had to cut it off before this post turned into a manifesto.

Yeah, I thought about mentioning the lost mp3 player but ended up deciding I wasn't sure if it would be appropriate. :P iPod... socks?
