after thinking about it some more, i realized an error in posting my last segment. i post what happens in my life as it happens to me, and there's certain things that are worth noting to an exclusive group of people. for example, since the last post is about learning japanese, it may be amusing to only myself, and possibly charlotte, stephanie, michael, cara, asako, and yoko (and any other japanese-understanding readers i have that i am not aware of). however, that's not everyone, and for me to post such content provides me with a small internal conflict: should you censor yourself because people won't get it?
i think the solution lies in categories, an option in moveable type that allows filtering.
